Designed for the beginner, this course will concentrate on writing, reading and pronouncing the Arabic alphabet. Some conversation and culture will be included. By the end of this course, students should be able to recognize written and spoken letters of the Arabic alphabet and the numbers 1 - 19. Students should be able to produce letters of the Arabic alphabet and the numbers 1 - 19 through written and oral means.

Occasionally quizzes may be administered to gauge your progress and the efficacy of my curriculum. I may also ask students to pronounce sounds individually.

If you have any questions or comments, please email me. If you will be absent or late, please notify me in advance so I won't be worried. If you are having difficulties, discuss supplemental learning options with me immediately.
